I had the privilege of knowing Dr. Cecile Janssens for the last 14 years of her life. We met in 2008 at work, and knowing her brought illumination to every part of my life. After her untimely death, I decided that I could help to honor her legacy by posting information about her work. Please see my blog for more information at https://cecilejanssens.blogspot.com/ and below.

Cecile Janssens relaxes outside with a glass of white wine at her home in Stille Wille, The Netherlands.

CoCites

CoCites, a patented (US10635705), citation-based method for searching scientific literature, was developed by Dr. Janssens, a former research professor at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University, Atlanta, USA. The performance of the method was evaluated in a large validation study (National Library of Medicine) and an applied study (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality). These studies were conducted with Dr. Marta Gwinn, Dr. Michael Goodman, Kimberley Powell. Both projects were coordinated by J. Elaine Brockman.
